Releases List View
The releases list view is a tabular view that displays release requests and their attributes as columns. By default, release requests are displayed in the list view.
Choose all customers or a specific customer from the drop-down in the application header to view the releases associated with them.
Role Required: SDAdmin, SDReleaseManager, Technicians with View Releases permission.

Choose Columns to Display
Column chooser

helps you choose the information you want on the list view. You can choose up to 70 columns to view on the releases list view page and re-order the columns using the

icon.
Search Releases
Click the

icon on the toolbar to search through all fields in the release. You cannot search for release requests using any of the
Date fields.
You can also search for releases from the global search

option in the application header.
Create New Release Requests
Create new release requests by clicking
New Release on the toolbar. Click the

icon beside the
New Release button, and select a template to create a release request using a pre-defined template.

Bulk Actions
You can select multiple release requests using the checkbox next to the required releases and perform bulk operations such as delete, pick up, close, and assign release owner.
Only users with permission to approve the release closure can close the release.
Export Data
Click the

icon to export the releases in the CSV format from the list view.
You can export customer-specific releases by selecting the required customer from the drop-down in the application header.
You can export,
- All data: Exports all releases of a specific or all customers.
- All data from the current view: Exports all releases of a specific or all customers on the current page.
- Selected data from the current view: Exports only the releases selected on the current page.
Customize List View
You can manage the list view using the
Table Settings icon

as follows:
- Records Per Page: Limit the number of release requests displayed on a page.
- Sort By Column: Sort and view the release requests based on the criteria listed in the drop-down. You can also click the column name on the list view page to sort the release requests accordingly.
- Refresh Frequency: Set a 3, 5, 10, 15, or 30-minute interval to auto-refresh the list view. Select Never to disable auto-refresh for the list view.
- Display Density (List view-only): You can choose to view the release requests in a compact, dense manner or in a comfortable, spacious manner.

Add Releases
View Release Details
Click the required release in the list to open its
details page.
Edit /Delete/Close Releases
- You can edit, delete, and close a release request by clicking the
icon next to the required release.
- To bulk delete release requests, select the required releases using the checkboxes and click Delete on the toolbar.
Close Releases
- Select the required releases from the list using checkboxes and click Close.
- Provide a closure code for the releases and click Save.
Only users with permission to approve the release closure can close the release.
Add and View Notes
Click the
Notes icon

to view/add notes to the release request. If no notes are added to the release request, the icon will appear gray. After you add a note, the icon will turn yellow.
View Release Workflow
- Hover over the workflow icon
to preview its name and execution status.
- The execution statuses are indicated with different colors on the workflow icon.
- Click the workflow icon to view its execution graph.
Preview Summary of Release Request
Hover over the release title to preview its details.
Monitor Release Tasks
- Use Column Chooser to have Tasks as a column in the list view.
- The release task information is displayed as a progress bar.
- Hover over the progress bar to view its summary, such as the total number of tasks, pending and completed tasks, along with your pending/completed tasks associated with the release request.
- Click the task count to view more details.
View Roles and Assigned Users
- Use Column Chooser to have Roles as a column in the list view.
- Click the role icon
next to the required release to view the users assigned to roles for that release.

Release Template View
The template view displays the release requests as an extensive list. The crucial information of a release request is fixed as columns, while additional information, such as category, priority, schedule, and type, can be viewed under the release title.
Role Required: SDAdmin, SDReleaseManager, users with View Releases permission.
To view releases in the template view, go to
Releases and click the

icon on the top-right.
The number of release tasks and its completion percentage are indicated with an interactive pie chart icon.
To view customer-specific releases, use the customer drop-down in the application header.
All other aspects of the template view are as same as the
list view.
Release Calendar View
The release calendar view gives a bird's-eye view of all releases and their types are highlighted in different colors as per the color codes on the bottom.
To access this view, go to
Releases and click the calendar icon

on the top-right.
Role Required: SDAdmin, SDReleaseManager, users with View Releases permission
To view customer-specific releases, use the customer drop-down in the application header.
Select Week on the top-right for weekly calendar view and Month for monthly calendar view.
You can perform the following actions on releases in the calendar view:
- Filter the releases using the custom view menu on the top-left and pin your favorites.
- Click the icon to create a new custom view using different criteria, including customer criteria.
- Use the filter icon
to narrow down site-specific and service-specific releases. Sites and services will be populated based on the customer selected in the application header.
