Release Workflow Execution

Release Workflow Execution

Release workflow provides a detailed execution flow of a release process within an organization. To learn how to configure a workflow, refer to the release workflow editor.
Info
Role Required: Users with the View Releases permission.
To view the workflow execution path of a release request, click the Workflow button on the required release details page. Alternatively, click the Workflow icon next to the required release in the list/template view.
You should now see the release workflow execution read-only view page displaying various nodes and connectors. The header displays the workflow name, the workflow status indicator, release ID, release title, the associated customer, and the current release stage and status.

Workflow Status Indicators

The workflow icon color changes according to the workflow status, as shown:

  2. The completed workflow path is highlighted in green color.
  3. Virtual connectors (denoted by dash lines) represent transitions the release followed but are not configured in the workflow.
  4. Connectors that failed to execute are highlighted in red color.

    2. User who performed the transition
    3. The transition time
    4. (Current stage transitions only) Wait duration for the next transition

  1. Hover over a connector to view its source and target nodes.
