Floors

You can add information about different floors available in the building. This helps in categorizing and organizing available spaces based on floors.
To add a new floor,
  1. Go to Spaces > Floors. Select a customer from All Customers.
  2. Click New Floor. Fill out the form as directed.
 
Fields
Explanation
Select Type
Select the space type from available templates.
Info
Select a predefined floor type. Click here to learn more about creating types for floors. 
Name*, Description, Campus*, Building*
Enter the name, description, campus, and building it belongs to.
 
Status
Select the current status of the floor to indicate its availability and usage. This helps in effective space planning and management. You can customize the statuses from Space Status.
Area
Enter the total area of the floor in square meters (default value). To customize the units, click here.
Supervisors
Assign personnel responsible for managing the floor.
Amenities
Select amenities available within the floor, such as an ATM, gym, or pantry. To add amenities, click here.
Criticality
Select criticality based on hazards, such as any chemical waste, explosives, and more, present on the floor. To add criticality, click here.
Image Attachment(s)
Attach images of your floor.
 
 
  1. Click Save.
Once added, amenities and criticality details will be displayed with respective icons in the details page for easy identification.
Info
Total capacity and occupied capacity can only be entered for Non-buildings, rooms, and partitions (in rooms).  These values are used to automatically calculate the total and occupied capacity for the corresponding floor.

Floors List View     

In the floor list view, you can add, edit, or delete floors. You can also view floors in Space Tree to get an overview of rooms & spaces and associations under them as well as view the campus and structure in which they are located.
  1. Edit/Delete: Click Actions  and perform the preferred action.
  2. Filter: Use filters or the search option on the header to find a particular floor.
  3. View: Switch between table view and classic view using respective icons (List View, Template View) on the top right corner.
 


Floor Details Page 

In list view, click on a floor to view floor details.
From the header, you can,
  1. Edit floor details.
  2. Create and associate incident and service requests with that particular floor.
  3. Copy a space to reuse its configurations for similar setups.
Info
Add spaces field to Templates & Forms > Incident template/ Service Category  to list the templates when creating an incident or service request.
Details: Key information about your floor is displayed here.

Rooms & Spaces: To add rooms to the floor, click New Room and fill out the displayed form. You can also enable room booking with/without approval from Actions > Configure Booking.

Associations: You can view requests associated with the floor.

You can attach/detach assets and facility services with the floor under Assets associated and Facility services associated sections.
Info
 Assets and facility services should already exist before they can be associated.
Documents: You can add documents related to the floor, such as a fire evacuation plan, a blueprint of the floor, and more. 

History: All changes made to the floor are logged here. You can view details, such as date, time, operations done on the floor, and its description.
