Campuses

Campuses is the foremost space unit under Spaces, representing a physical space in a specific site or a geographic area. It acts as a parent entity for structures, floors, rooms, and facility services. 

To create a new campus,
  1. Go to Spaces > Campuses. Select a customer from All Customers.
  2. Click New Campus.
  3. Fill out the form as directed.
Fields
Explanation
Select Type
Select the campus type from the available campus templates.
 
Info
Note: Frequently created campuses such as schools, regional offices can be added as templates for reusability. To create space types, Click here.
 
Name*, Description, Site
Enter a name and description for the campus. Associate a site.
Status
Select the current status of the campus to indicate its availability and usage. This helps in effective space planning and management. You can customize the statuses from Space Status.
Area
Enter the total area of the campus in square meters (default value). The units can be customized here.
Supervisors
Assign personnel responsible for managing the campus.
Amenities
Select amenities available within the campus, such as an ATM, gym, or pantry. To add amenities, click here.
Criticality
Select criticality based on hazards, such as any chemical waste, explosives, and more, present in the campus. To add criticality, click here.
Image Attachment(s)
Attach images of your campus.
 
 
Once added, amenities and criticality details will be displayed with respective icons in the details page for easy identification.
Info
Total capacity and occupied capacity can only be entered for Non-buildings, rooms, and partitions (in rooms).  These values are used to automatically calculate the total and occupied capacity for the corresponding campus.
 
 

Campus List View     

From the campus list view, you can add, edit, or delete campuses. You can also view the campuses in Space Tree to get an overview of structures, floors, rooms & spaces, and associations under them.
  1. Edit/delete campus: click Actions  and perform the preferred action.
  2. Filters: Use filters or the search option in the header to find a particular campus.
  3. Views: Switch between table view and classic view using List View and Template View icons on the top right corner.

 Campus Details Page     

In list view, click on a campus to view campus details.
From the header, you can,
  1. Edit campus details.
  2. Create and associate incident and service requests with that particular campus.
Info
Note: Add spaces field to Templates & Forms > Incident template/ Service Category  to list the templates when creating an incident or service request.
 

Details: Key information about your campus is displayed here.

Structures: You can add new structures to this campus. Click New Structure > New Building or New Nonbuilding Structure and fill out the displayed form.

Associations: You can view requests associated with the campus.

You can attach/detach assets and facility services with the campus under Assets associated and Facility services associated sections.

Info
Please note that assets and facility services should already exist for them to be associated.
Documents: Add documents related to the campus, such as a fire evacuation plan, a blueprint of the campus, and more. 

History: All changes made to the campus are logged here. You can view details such as date, time, operations done on the campus, and its description.
