In this stage, the Release Engineering team educates end users and the company at large to use the deployed service effectively.
This stage is especially important for internal releases in your organization. Employees must be aware of the changes made to any service in use and the availability of new services to ensure better productivity.
You need to conduct the user training based on the significance and impact of the releases deployed. Operational issues identified during the initial period after deployment must be documented to follow up on the resolution in the next iteration.
To add and view training-related details,
- Go to Releases.
- Choose all or a specific customer from the drop-down in the header.
- Go to the details page of the required release.
- Click Training on the left pane.
On the canvas, the following tabs are displayed:
- Details:
- Spot-edit the relevant fields to provide the expected and actual training period.
- Describe the training process in detail.
- Attach the necessary files.
- Tasks: Add, edit, organize, delete, pick up, trigger, and close release tasks, assign owners to the unassigned tasks, and configure task dependencies. Learn more.
- Notes: Provide training-related additional information. You can also add training notes via conversations.
- Approvals: Define approvers for various approval levels required to complete the training. Learn more.
- Status Comments: View all training status comments provided in the release form.
