Change stage is a directional classification to manage and track the progress of various activities and functions in changes. The available change stages are Submission, Planning, CAB Evaluation, Implementation, UAT, Release, Review, and Close.
Each change stage contains change statuses that indicate the current state of the change request.

You cannot create change stages.
Role Required: SDAdmin
To create change stage statuses, go to Setup > Customization > Change Management > Change Stage and Status.
Create Change Status
- Click New Change Stage Status. Alternatively, you can expand a change stage by clicking the stage name and clicking Add.
- Enter a name for the change status. This is a mandatory field.
- Describe the change status details and usage.
- Select the change stage where the status is applicable. If the change status is added by expanding a stage, the stage name will be auto-selected.
- Select the users to notify when a change reaches the status within the change stage.
- Provide a subject and description for the notification sent. You can use $ to enter variables.
- Click Save.

- Edit Change Status: Expand the change stage by clicking its name and click
beside a status name.
- Delete Change Status: Expand the change stage by clicking its name and click
