Status

Status

Status indicates the level of completion of a request or problem. While creating a status, you can choose to stop the request timer for the status that is being created.

Role Required: SDAdmin
  1. Go to Setup > Customization > Helpdesk > Status.
  2. Click New Status.
  3. Provide a name for the status. This is a mandatory field.
  4. Describe the status details and usage.
  5. Select the status type.
    1. In Progress - Refers to statuses where the request is still in progress.
    2. Completed - Refers to statuses where the request is completed and the request timer is stopped.
  6. Enable Stop Timer to pause the request timer when the request is moved to this status. This option can be modified only for in progress statuses.
  7. Choose a color to indicate the status in the request list view.
  8. Click Save.

To edit/delete status, click beside a status name.

You cannot delete default statuses.
