Announcement type

Announcement type

Announcements alert users about help desk related information such as service updates, server issues, license renewal, or UI launch. Categorize announcements under announcement type based on their purpose.

Role Required: SDAdmin and AnnouncementConfig role

Add Announcement Types  

  1. Go to Setup > Customization > Announcement.
  2. A list of default announcement types, along with their description, is displayed.
  3. Click New Announcement Type.
  4. Provide a name and description for the announcement type.
  5. Click Save.

 

Edit/Delete Announcement Types  

Click beside the announcement type and select the required option.
