Schedule Reports

Role Required: SDAdmin, SDReport, Technicians with View access to reports, Account Manager and Point of Contact of customers with View Reports access.

Schedule report settings allow you to automatically generate multiple reports at a scheduled time. These reports can be generated in PDF, XLS, XLSX, HTML, Inline HTML, or CSV formats and can be sent via email.


To schedule reports,
  1. Go to the Reports module and select the Scheduled Reports tab.
  2. Select the respective customer from the filter in the header. You can also select All Customers from the customer filter in the header to view all reports associated to the customer. The All Customers option will be displayed based on the permissions of the logged in user.  
  3. Click New Scheduled Report.
  4. Select the report to schedule from the Report drop-down.
  5. Select the Format in which you want to export the report.
  6. In the To field, specify the email ID of the person to whom the generated report has to be sent.
  7. Enter a Subject for the email and a Message, if required.
  8. In the Scheduler section, set the time frame to schedule reports:
    1. Daily Schedule: Specify the time and date from which the report must be scheduled.
    2. Weekly Schedule: Select the days of the week you want to generate the report or select Everyday. Specify the time of the day to schedule the report.
    3. Monthly Schedule: Select the months you want to generate the report or select Every Month. Enter the day to schedule the report and the time of the day.
    4. Generate Once: Specify the Date and Time on which the report must be scheduled.
  9. Click Schedule

You can also schedule reports from the report details page: Open a report and click the Schedule button displayed at the top.
