Edit/Delete/Restore Changes

Edit Change Details 

Role Required: SDAdmin, SDChangeManager, Users with Edit permission to the Submission stage of the change

You can edit change details from the list/template view or the change details page.
  1. In the list/template view, click the settings icon against the change and select Edit.

  1. On the change details page, click Edit displayed at the top.



Technicians with edit permission for the change stages can also spot-edit the fields from the change details page. Click the field to open it in an editable format.

 

Delete Changes 

Role Required: SDAdmin, SDChangeManager, Users with Delete permission to Changes

You can delete changes from the list/template view or the change details page:
  1. To delete multiple changes, select the preferred changes from the list/template view, and click Delete.

  1. To delete an individual change, click Action > Delete Change on the change details page.

Deleted changes will be moved to the trash.
 

View Trashed Changes 

Role Required: SDAdmin, SDChangeManager, Users with View permission to Changes
  1. Go to Changes.
  2. Click the custom view drop-down in the top left.
  3. Click Trashed Changes.
  4. Select the customer from the filter in the header to view the trashed changes of that specific customer.

 Changes in the trash will be deleted automatically after 30 days. 
 

Restore Trashed Changes  

Role Required: SDAdmin, SDChangeManager, Users with Delete permission to Changes
  1. Select the changes to be restored by enabling the check boxes in the trash.
  2. Click Restore.

The change request is restored and can be accessed from the change list view.

Changes in the trash will be deleted permanently after 30 days. To delete the changes right away, select the trashed changes and click Delete
