You can filter the change requests based on specific criteria to create your own customized page of change requests. This helps you sort and view change requests based on your priority and requirement.
Role Required: SDAdmin, SDChangeManager, User with View permission to Changes
By default, custom views tabulate All Changes. You can click the custom view name on the top-left of the page to filter the change requests based on:
- Favorites: Custom views marked as favorites by clicking
icon beside their name are listed here. You can also pin your favorite custom views as quick links.
- Public Views: Public views lists various filters based on change status, approval status, and assigned status.
- My View: Private custom views will be listed here.
- Trashed Changes: This filter lists deleted change requests. You can restore or delete the change requests permanently from this page.
Pin Favorite Custom Views
Click the

icon on the custom view menu to pin the favorite custom views as quick links on the toolbar. This will be useful for instant navigation between different custom views. The pinned custom views can be accessed by clicking the Favorites icon

. You can expand/contract the pinned view.
Create Custom Views
- Go to Changes and click the New Custom View icon
.
- Specify the Custom View Name. This is a mandatory field.
- Specify the filter condition by selecting the column, operator, and value.
- Click the
icon to add more conditions.
- By default, the AND condition is applied. Click it to switch to the OR condition.
- For SDAdmins, the custom view will be public by default. To make the view private, select Make this view as a private custom view. This option will not be available for users without administrator privileges as they can create only private views.
- Finally, click Save.
You can temporarily filter the change requests without saving the criteria by clicking Apply. Unless saved, temporary filters will be dismissed if the page is refreshed.
Edit/Delete Custom Views
Only SDAdmins can create or edit public custom views.
In the custom view menu, hover over the custom view name.

icon to edit the custom view.
- Use the
icon to delete the custom view permanently.

Users can edit only their own custom views.

You cannot edit default custom views.

You cannot delete default custom views or private/public custom views created by other users.
