Custom Views

Custom views allow you to filter data in a module based on specific conditions to create your own customized list view, template view, or kanban view pages.
Role Required: Technicians with View permissions
  1. Go to the respective module.
  2. Click the New Custom View icon .
  3. Provide a name for the custom view. This is a mandatory field.
  4. You can click next to the name to add the filter as a favorite.
  5. Configure the condition for the filter by selecting the column, operator, and criteria.  You can use the arrow beside the column name to select the sub-fields under that particular field.
  6. Click to add more conditions. By default, AND condition is applied. Click AND to change to the OR condition.
  7. Select Make this view as a private custom view to make the request filter only accessible to you. This option is only available for SDAdmins.  
  8. Click Save.
 Only SDAdmins can create or edit public custom filters.  Technicians without administrator privileges can only create/edit private filters.   
You can also click Apply to temporarily view the custom view without saving the criteria. However, temporary filters will be dismissed if the page is refreshed.
Pin Favorite Custom Views
Click on the custom view menu to pin the favorite custom views as quick links on the toolbar. This will be useful for instant navigation between different custom views.


The pinned custom views are indicated by the Favorites icon . You can expand/contract the pinned view by clicking .


Edit or Delete Custom Filters
  1. Go to the custom view menu in a relevant module.
  2. Hover over a custom view name.
  3. Click to edit the custom view.
  4. Click to delete the custom view.

Info
Private custom views you created will appear under My Views section in the custom view drop-down. 
Users can only edit or delete the custom views that they have created.
