Edit, Cancel, or Delete Contracts

Edit Contract

Role Required: SDAdmin, Users with Edit Contract permissions
  1. On the header, select the customer for whom you want to edit a contract.
  2. On the list view page, click and select Edit.
  3. You can also go to the contract details page and click Edit on the toolbar

Delete Contract

Role Required: SDAdmin, Users with Delete Contract permissions
  1. On the header, select the customer for whom you want to delete a contract.
  2. On the list view page, click and select Delete. To bulk delete, select the contracts and click Delete on the tool bar.
  3. You can also go to the contract details page and select Actions > Delete Contract.

Cancel Contract

Cancel contracts that are no longer valid.
Role Required: SDAdmin, Users with Cancel Contract permissions
  1. On the header, select the customer for whom you want to cancel a contract.
  2. Select the relevant contract.
  3. On the contract details page, select Actions > Cancel Contract.
  4. Enter the reason for cancellation.
  5. You can choose to send an email notification about the canceled contract.
  6. Enter the email address to whom the notification must be sent.
  7. If child contracts are present, you can choose to dissociate the child contracts or cancel them.
  8. Click Update.

Cancel Contract

Cancel contracts that are no longer valid.

Role Required: SDAdmin, Users with Cancel Contract permissions

  1. On the header, select the customer for whom you want to cancel a contract.

  2. Select the relevant contract.

  3. On the contract details page, select Actions > Cancel Contract.

  4. Enter the reason for cancellation.

  5. You can choose to send an email notification about the canceled contract.

  6. Enter the email address to whom the notification must be sent.

  7. If child contracts are present, you can choose to dissociate the child contracts or cancel them.

  8. Click Update.

Info
  1.  You cannot edit canceled contracts. 
  2.  If you cancel a parent contract, the expired child contracts will not be canceled. 
  3.  Child contracts that are in draft will not be canceled. 
  4.  If a child contract in draft is marked as active and the parent contract is canceled, an error will be displayed. 
  5.  Canceled contracts will be excluded from reports.
