Asset Acknowledgment
Acknowledgment refers to the process where an individual (usually an employee) formally confirms receipt and responsibility for a physical or digital asset provided by an organization.
You can view and manage asset acknowledgments under Assets > Acknowledgments.

Role Required: SDAdmin or technicians with Edit Assets permission.
You can filter acknowledgments based on statuses such as All Status, Acknowledgment Pending, Assets Received, and Assets Not Received. You can also filter acknowledgments based on product types and sites.
- Acknowledgment Pending: Acknowledgments that are pending actions from users.
- Asset Received: Acknowledgments of assets received by users.
- Assets Not Received: Acknowledgments of assets not received by users.
Send Acknowledgment Reminders and Download Acknowledgments
Send reminders to users to take acknowledgment actions as well as download acknowledgments.
To send a reminder or download acknowledgments, select acknowledgments from the list view using the check boxes and click Send Reminder or Download Details.
You can configure acknowledgments for specific product types and receive user acknowledgments whenever assets are assigned to users. To do that, go to Setup > Customization > Asset Management > Asset Acknowledgment. Learn more.
Ensure the corresponding asset notifications are enabled to notify users when acknowledgments are sent under Setup > Automation > Notification Rules > Asset > Asset Notifications.
