Asset State

Asset State

Indicates the status of assets in the organization. By default, ServiceDesk Plus Cloud MSP provides the following states: Disposed, Expired, In Repair, In Use, and In Store. You can also create new asset states.

Role Required: AssetConfig

Create Asset States 

  1. Go to Setup > Customization > Asset Management > Asset State.
  2. Click New Asset State.
  3. Provide a name for the asset state This is a mandatory field.
  4. Describe the asset state details and usage.
  5. Click Save.

Edit/Delete Asset State  

Click beside the asset state and select Edit or Delete.
Info
You cannot delete default asset states.
