Software Category

Group software under a specific category. By default, ServiceDesk Plus Cloud MSP provides nine software categories.

Default categories cannot be edited or deleted. 
Role Required: AssetConfig

Create Software Categories 

  1. Go to Setup > Customization > Asset Management > Software Categories.
  2. Click New Software Category.
  3. Provide a name for the software category. This is a mandatory field.
  4. Describe the software category details and usage.
  5. Click Save.

Edit/Delete Software Types 

On the list view, click or   beside the software category to edit or delete it.
