Reason for Change

Reason for change documents predefined causes that attribute to standard/frequent changes, which users can specify when creating change requests. You can generate a report on the various reasons for change and analyze why repetitive changes are initiated.

Role Required: SDAdmin
  1. Go to Setup > Customization > Change Management > Reason for Change.
  2. Click New Reason for Change.
  3. Enter a name. This is a mandatory field.
  4. Describe the reason for change details and usage.
  5. Click Save.

To edit/delete reason for change, click beside a reason for change name.
