An asset is any resource or item that is purchased and used by an organization to deliver IT services. ServiceDesk Plus MSP Cloud provides an organized approach to add, track, maintain, and manage ownership of all your customers' assets throughout their life cycle.
You can manage IT, non-IT, and software components, along with their financial and contractual data, to provide an optimized and compliant IT environment for your customers as per their objectives.
You can scan all workstations within the customer's network and generate and scan barcodes and QR codes to create unique assets records in ServiceDesk Plus MSP Cloud.
Additionally, you can set customer-specific replenishment thresholds for all IT and non-IT assets to ensure timely purchases before inventory depletes and initiate license upgrades for assets.
To access the asset module, click Assets on the navigation menu.
The asset module is customer-specific. Therefore, you must select a customer from the drop-down in the header before adding or modifying asset records.
You can add assets only for customers within your scope.
