Bundle holidays into holiday groups and apply them to various sites or technician groups. You can create holidays in each holiday group and also import holidays across holiday groups.
Holiday groups are used to calculate request completion time, SLA, or time spent by technicians as applicable to requests. You can also ensure that critical automations are not executed during holidays.
Role Required: SDAdmin
Create Holiday Group
To create a new holiday group,
- Go to Setup > Instance Configurations > Holiday Groups.
- Select the respective customer from the filter in the application header.
- Click New.
- Provide a name for the holiday group.
- Describe the usage and details of the holiday group.
- Select the sites and groups where the holiday group is applicable. If no holiday group is associated with a site or technician group, the default holiday group will be associated.
- Click Save.
Add/Import Holidays
To add or import holidays,
- Go to Setup > Instance Configurations > Holiday Groups.
- Select the respective customer from the filter in the application header.
- On the list view, click on a holiday group name to expand it.
- Click Add to define new holidays.
- Select the holiday date.
- Describe the holiday details.
- Specify if the holiday recurs annually.
- Click Save.
- Click Import to add holidays defined in other holiday groups.
- Select the holiday group from where the holidays must be imported.
- Choose the holidays to be imported.
- Click Import.
List View Operations
- Click
to edit or delete holiday groups.
- Click
to search through holiday groups.
- Click
to customize the number of records displayed.
- Use the Filters drop-down to view holiday groups based on the applied sites or groups.
- Click a holiday group to expand and view the holidays and associated sites.

You cannot delete the default holiday group.
You can also expand a holiday group and perform similar operations on the added holidays.
