Configure ESM Portal

ESM Portal is the central console where users can access all service desk instances available to them. The ESM Portal can be customized with unique layout and widgets.
Role Required: Organization Admin

Customize ESM Portal Layout

  1. Go to ESM Directory > ESM Portal.
  2. Click Customize the Portal.
  3. Click a template variable displayed on the bottom left to render various elements for the layout. You can type in custom HTML codes to add personalized layouts or external links.
  4. Toggle between Code View or Preview to work on the HTML code or preview the output, respectively. You can use Split View to preview and work on the code simultaneously.
  5. Click Replace to undo all changes and reset the code editor with the default layout or published layout.
  6. Click Save and Publish. You can also save the draft locally.


Configure Preferred Landing Page

Select a landing page for users who do not have a default service desk instance set.
  1. Go to ESM Directory > ESM Portal.
  2. You can either set ESM portal as the default landing page or a specific instance.
  3. Click Save.
