Bookings

Under Bookings, you can view and reserve spaces for various needs, such as meetings, seminars, training sessions, or collaborative work, and minimize scheduling conflict.
To book a space,
  1. Go to Spaces > Booking. Select the customer from All customers.
  2. Click New Booking. Fill out the form as directed.
 
Fields
Explanation
Title*
Provide a title for the booking.
Date*
Book the room for the entire day or select a specific date and time using the calendar.
To change the time zone, click Time Zone and select the required option.
To set up a recurring booking, select Repeat and specify the repeat frequency.
Room/Space*
Select the room/space from the drop-down. Check the availability of the room by clicking the Rooms/Spaces Availability  icon.
Owner*
Assign an owner for the booking.
Remind Owner
Notify the owner before the booking time.
Participants
Add participants.
Additional Instructions
Enter additional information, if required.
Info
If Create Service Request for Bookings is enabled, the additional instructions will be added as a description for the created service request.
Description
Briefly describe the booking.
Private Booking
Private bookings are visible only to the user who created the booking, owner, approver, and participants.
 
  1. Click Book.
 

Bookings List View 

From the bookings list view, you can add, edit, cancel, or delete bookings.
  1. Edit/Delete/Cancel the booking: Click Actions  beside the booking and select the required option.
  2. To bulk delete bookings, select the required bookings and click Delete.
  3. Filter: Use filters or the search option at the top of the page to find a particular booking.
  4. Views: Switch between the table view and classic view by using respective icons (List View, Template View) on the top right corner.
  5. Quickly view the scheduled, completed, and pending approval bookings from the Rooms/Spaces Availability calendar.
 


Booking Details View 

In list view, click a booking to view its details. You can view all details related to the booking, associated incident and service requests, and booking history.

  1. Use the Actions drop-down to associate incident/service requests and set reminders.
  2. Edit, cancel, and delete the booking using the respective buttons on the top of the page.
  3. The Associations tab displays all the associated incident and service requests.
  4. The History tab records all actions performed on a booking.
