Analytics Integration

ServiceDesk Plus MSP Cloud integrates with ManageEngine Analytics Plus, a secure business intelligence (BI) platform that allows IT service desk managers to create insightful reports within minutes. Using an intuitive drag-and-drop interface, administrators can build detailed reports and dashboards without writing any database queries.
Role Required: SDAdmin 

Prerequisites 

The user must have an account in ServiceDesk Plus MSP Cloud and in Analytics Plus.
In Analytics Plus:
  1. View access is required to view reports and dashboards.
  2. Write permission is required to create or modify reports and dashboards.

Benefits 

  1. Analyze and visualize service desk data through 80+ prebuilt reports and dashboards.
  2. Combine external data (Excel, CSV) with service desk data.
  3. Schedule automatic email delivery of reports to stakeholders.
  4. Export reports in multiple formats: PDF, XLS, CSV, or JPG.

Enable Integration 

  1. Go to Setup > Apps & Add-ons > Analytics Plus.
  2. Click Enable Analytics.

In the pop-up displayed, select Yes to push data from ServiceDesk Plus MSP Cloud to Analytics Plus. This will create a new workspace in Analytics Plus.
 

Data Synchronization and Management Settings     

After enabling the integration, administrators can schedule data synchronization and manage the data as follows:
  1. Data Synchronization Settings: Configure how data is synchronized between ServiceDesk Plus MSP Cloud and Analytics Plus. Track the last sync information from the UI.
    1. Periodic Data Synchronization: Sync the data from ServiceDesk Plus MSP Cloud to Analytics Plus at regular intervals. Choose the sync frequency.
    2. Archived Data Upload:  You can choose to include or exclude archived data from ServiceDesk Plus MSP Cloud to Analytics Plus.
  2. Reset Data: Click Clean Up and Sync Now to remove existing data from Analytics Plus and perform a fresh synchronization. Previously created reports will still be retained.
  3. Clear Data and Settings: Click Remove Integration to disable the integration and delete your workspace.
  4. Workspace Information: View your workspace information and rename the workspace if needed.

Navigate to the Upload History tab to track the integration history and the data uploaded to Analytics Plus. The details of the operation, performer, start and end time, and the status of the operation will be available.

 

Accessing Analytics Plus 

You can either log in to Analytics Plus using your ServiceDesk Plus MSP Cloud credentials, or click the hyperlink at the top of the Analytics Plus Settings page to access the Analytics Plus application.
ServiceDesk Plus MSP Cloud Analytics workspace has over 80 prebuilt reports and dashboards created using your ServiceDesk Plus data.


You can also explore and analyze data from different modules available under the Explorer tab.
 

Go to the Dashboards tab to view and analyze key metrics across various aspects of your help desk operations in ServiceDesk Plus MSP Cloud.

 

Leverage AI Capabilities   

Zia, Zoho's AI assistant, can be used to interpret your questions, fetch data from relevant tables and generate the most appropriate reports.
Click Create on the navigation pane and select Ask Zia.
