Project Gantt View

A Gantt chart is a bar chart that illustrates a project schedule. This chart also illustrates project elements along with their schedule against the project calendar and summarizes the entire project using the chart.
 
Advantages:
  1. Access all projects.
  2. View project constraints like time, workforce, and amount of work.
  3. Reschedule milestones and tasks.
  4. Change project member roles.
To access this view, click Gantt View displayed on the project list view. Select the customer from the filter in the header, or choose All Customers.

Gantt View Actions

Customer Filter: Filter the projects based on customers in the Gantt view using the customer filter in the application header. Choose All Customers to see projects from all customers in a single window, or select a specific customer from the filter to view projects from only that customer.
 
View Project/Milestones/Tasks: You can customize the Gantt chart to view specific projects, milestones, and tasks using the respective drop-downs.
 
Filter by Time: You can filter the Gantt chart to display projects, milestones, or tasks according to their scheduled time, and date range, and choose to view the calendar by days, weeks, months, or years. 
 
Add, edit, or delete tasks/milestones/projects: Use the gear icon against a project to add a task/milestone, or to edit the project.

You can add and delete only tasks and milestones. 
Reschedule the start and end times: Drag-and-drop the horizontal bar on the calendar to the appropriate time frames. To increase or decrease the duration, click one end of the bar and drag it to a preferred time.

Configure Dependencies: In the left pane, click a project and expand its milestones. Among the horizontally aligned tasks, click the tail node of the first task to be performed and drag the orange-colored arrow up to the source node of the second task.

Edit, Delete, Trash, and Restore Projects

To edit a project,
  1. Go to the projects list view.
  2. Click the gear icon and select Edit. You can also click Edit on the project details page.

To delete a project,
  1. Go to the projects list view.
  2. Click the gear icon and select Delete. You can also click Actions > Delete on the project details page.
 
To bulk delete projects, select the projects from the list view, and click Delete.

Deleted milestones will be moved to the trash along with their associated milestones and tasks. You can restore a project from the trash within 30 days of deletion. 
To view trashed projects,
  1. Go to the projects list view.
  2. Select Trashed Projects from the custom view drop-down.
 
To restore or delete projects permanently,
  1. Go to the trashed projects list view.
  2. Select the projects, and click Restore or Delete.
