Maintenance Management

Configure settings related to the Maintenance module.

Role Required: SDAdmin, SDMaintenanceManager

Go to Setup > Customization > Maintenance Management.

Description

General Settings

Date Format*

Set the date format for the $current_date variable. This setting defines how the date appears in the maintenance subject.

The default format is dd/MM/yyyy.

Maintenance ID Settings

Request Maintenance

ID Prefix* - Set the ID prefix for request maintenance. You can set up to 5 characters.

The default prefix is RQM.

ID Starts From* - Set the starting number for request maintenance IDs. By default, the request maintenance ID starts from 1.

Change Maintenance

ID Prefix* - Set the ID prefix for change maintenance. You can set up to 5 characters.

The default prefix is CHM.

ID Starts From* - Set the starting number for change maintenance IDs. By default, the change maintenance ID starts from 1.

 

Note

  • The maintenance ID value cannot be less than the latest maintenance ID value.

  • The ID and prefix cannot be null.

  • The updated ID is applied when the next maintenance is created.
