Follow Requests

Follow Requests

Technicians can follow requests to monitor its updates and receive notifications when changes are made.

Role Required: Technicians with View Request permission; Requesters. 
 

Follow a Request 

  1. Go to Requests and select the respective customer from the drop-down in the header.
  2. Open the request that you want to follow.
  3. In the request details page, click Actions > Follow.

Notifications related to this request will appear as popup notifications in the bottom-left corner. You can also access all your notifications from the notification pane. To open the notification pane, click the Notifications icon .
 

View Followed Requests 

  1. Go to Requests and choose the respective customer from the drop-down in the header.
  2. Click the request filters drop-down on the top left.
  3. Select the Requests Followed by Me filter.
All requests that you're following will be listed.

 

Manage Followers 

Role Required: Technicians with edit request permission
To manage the followers of a request,
  1. Go to Requests and choose the respective customer from the drop-down in the header.
  2. Open the request that you want to manage followers for.
  3. Click Actions > Manage Followers.
  4. The Manage Followers drop-down displays details of the users following the request. Modify its details by clicking .

Unfollow Requests 

  1. Go to Requests and choose the respective customer from the drop-down in the header.
  2. Open the request that you want to unfollow.
  3. Click  or select Actions > Unfollow.
  4. Click Yes in the pop-up displayed to confirm your choice.
