Contract Types

Categorize contracts into various types, such as lease, maintenance, support, warranty, and the like. Besides the default contract types, you can configure new ones.
Role Required: SDAdmin

Create Contract Types 

  1. Go to Setup > Customization > Contract Management > Contract Type.
  2. Click New Contract Type.
  3. Enter a name for the contract type. This is a mandatory field.
  4. Describe the contract type details and usage.
  5. Choose a color code to differentiate contract types.
  6. Choose who should have access to this contract type by selecting technicians or organization roles under Accessibility. Technicians or organization roles you select here will only be able to use or view contracts of this type.
  7. Click Save.

List View Operations


Click to search contract types by name.

To edit/delete contract types, click beside the contract type and select Edit or Delete.

If you delete a contract type when it is used in contracts, the contract type will be deactivated. To enable a deactivated contract, click the contract name  and disable the Contract Type not for further use option.
