Closure Code

Closure Code

Closure Code indicates the reason behind closing an problem request. Technicians can specify the closure code when closing requests to help other technicians involved in a problem request understand why the problem is closed.

Role Required: SDAdmin
  1. Go to Setup > Customization > Problem Management > Closure Code.
  2. Click New Closure Code.
  3. Enter a name for the closure code. This is a mandatory field.
  4. Describe the closure code details and usage.
  5. Click Save.

To edit/delete closure code, click beside a closure code name.

If a closure code associated with a problem is deleted, it will be grayed out and marked as not for further use. To use the closure code, edit the closure code and toggle the Closure Code not for further use option.
