Add Reminders in Requests
Technicians can add reminders in requests to keep track of important information and to ensure that all activities related to the request are completed on time.
Role Required: Technicians with Add Request permission.
Create a New Reminder
- To add reminders in requests, go to the Reminders tab within a request and click New Reminder.
- Use the pointers below to fill out the new reminder pop-up.
- Summary: Provide a brief description of the event you want a reminder for.
- Date: Select a date and time of the event for which you require a reminder.
- Email me before: Select when you need a reminder.
The reminder notification will be sent via email at the specified time.
Edit/Delete a Reminder
To edit a reminder,
- Go to the Reminders tab in a request.
- Click the Reminder Summary of the reminder you wish to edit.
- Make your edits and click Save.
To delete a reminder,
- Select the reminder you want to delete using the checkboxes from the reminders list view.
- Click Delete.
Modify Reminder State
You can change the state of the reminder to Completed or Open.
- Go to the Reminders tab of a request.
- Select the reminder you want to change the state of using the check boxes in the list view.
- Click Modify Reminder State To and select the appropriate option from the drop-down.
